వ్యాసార్థము (vyāsardhamu)

    అర్థము

     (విశేష్యము): వృత్తం(circle) మీద ఉన్న రెండు బిందువులును(points) కలుపుతూ వృత్త కేంద్రం(centre)  గుండా పోయే రేఖా ఖండం(line segment) వ్యాసము(diameter) అంటారు. దానిలో సగము వ్యాసార్ధము. అంటే వృత్త కేంద్రం నుండి వృత్తం మీద ఉన్న ఏదైనా బిందువుని కలిపే రేఖా ఖండం.
