ఆపోశనము (āposanamu)

   అర్థము

    (విశేష్యము) : భోజనానికి ముందు తర్వాత పుడిసిట్లో నీళ్ళు పోసికొని మంత్రించి తాగటం; స్వాధీనం చేసుకోటం

  Meaning

   (noun) : sipping of water from the palm of the hand as a religious ceremony before or after meals; get mastery over

    వాడుక / Usage

    పదిహేనేళ్ల వయసుకే వేదం ఎనభై రెండు పన్నాలు ఆపోశన పట్టాడు.

    By the age of 15 he gained mastery over the 82 sections of Vedas.

  మెదడుకు మేత / Food for thought

     దేవుడికి దీపం అవసరంలేదు, చీకట్లో మగ్గుతున్న మీ అంతరాత్మలో దీపం వెలిగించి భగవంతుడి ముందు ఆత్మ విమర్శ చేసుకోండి. అప్పటికీ మీలో కళంకం లేదనిపిస్తే అప్పుడు మీరు నిజమైన దైవభక్తులు.
